Your clients always know what's outstanding — without opening QuickBooks

Ledger Delivery pulls accounts-receivable data from QuickBooks Online and emails a plain-language summary to the business owner on a schedule you set. You connect it once. They read it from their inbox.

How it works

Three steps. No ongoing effort required from the bookkeeper or the owner.

Step 1

The bookkeeper connects QuickBooks

Sign in with your Intuit account and authorize read-only access to the client company files you want to monitor. The connection takes about two minutes per company.

Step 2

Choose who receives what and when

For each company, enter the owner's email address, pick a delivery schedule (weekly, twice weekly, or daily), and enable same-day past-due alerts if the owner wants them.

Step 3

The owner gets email — nothing else required

Each delivery arrives in the owner's inbox. No app to download, no password to remember, no dashboard to check. The summary is the entire product.

Built for bookkeepers. Appreciated by owners.

For bookkeepers

Stop answering the same question every week

Every bookkeeper knows the call: "Hey, what do we have outstanding?" Ledger Delivery answers it automatically, before the owner thinks to ask. Manage several client companies from a single login, set each one's schedule independently, and let the system handle the follow-up.

Your clients see a professional, consistent summary with your firm's setup behind it. It reinforces the value you already provide.

For business owners

No login. No app. Just read it from the notification.

You do not need a Ledger Delivery account. You do not need to connect anything. Your bookkeeper sets it up; you receive the email. Open it like any other message. The numbers are there, organized the way you would organize them yourself.

If an invoice crosses its due date, you get a separate alert that morning — one customer, one amount, one date. No noise.

What it does not do

We think it is important to be specific about the limits of this service, especially for people who are careful about their financial data.

  • Read-only access to QuickBooks. Ledger Delivery reads invoice, customer, and balance data. It never writes, edits, or deletes anything in your books.
  • Does not process payments. There is no payment link, no payment processing, and no connection to your bank or merchant account.
  • Does not contact your customers. Ledger Delivery sends email only to the addresses you configure. It never emails your clients' customers or sends collection notices of any kind.
  • Does not store your QuickBooks credentials. Authorization is handled through Intuit's OAuth system. We receive a token, not a password, and that token is stored encrypted. You can revoke access at any time from within QuickBooks.
